About Chopta Tungnath
Chopta is an untainted characteristic objective lying in the lap of the Uttarakhand Himalayas and offers perspectives on the monumental Himalayan range including Trishul, Nanda Devi, and Chaukhamba. It is situated at a rise of 2,680 meters (8,790 ft) above ocean level. Important things to remember for Chopta Tungnath Trek
- This is a High Altitude Trek and not a picnic. Prepare Yourself Physically and Mentally by following a fitness routine.
- There are many options available for renting gears at Chopta. The renting amount is not fixed. Moreover, different vendors may give you different rates. Make sure you check everything properly before renting.
- Drones are restricted in the area. You cannot fly drones in the whole area because it is a wildlife sanctuary.
- A sequence of the day-wise itinerary may change depending upon restrictions and other unforeseen events.
- We shall not be responsible for any change in the itinerary due to landslides, flight cancellations, weather conditions or any unforeseen events. The additional cost incurred will be in addition to the package price.
- You must carry valid identification proof.
- Consult your doctor before going for the trek and carry a first aid kit with medical supplies according to your need.
- Guests shall be liable to pay for any damages, except normal wear and tear to an asset if any.

Cancellation policy and charges
We cannot pay any compensation, reimburse expenses, or cover losses for any amount or otherwise accept responsibility if as a result of circumstances beyond our control, we have to change your tour after booking, or we, cannot supply your tour, as we had agreed, or you suffer any loss or damage of any description. When we refer to circumstances beyond our control, we mean any event that we could not foresee or avoid, even after taking all reasonable care. Such circumstances will usually include but are not limited to, war, the threat of war, airport closures, epidemic, natural or nuclear disaster, terrorist activity, civil unrest, industrial dispute, bad weather.
In case of unforeseen weather conditions or government restrictions, the activity may be canceled and in such cases, you can reschedule your Chopta Tungnath Trek bookings. However, no refund will be provided in any condition.
Cancellation charges
30 days or more: 90% of the total Package Cost is refundable
21-30 days: 75% of total Package Cost is refundable
11-20 days: 50% of total Package Cost is refundable
Less than 10 days: No refund
Due to COVID 19 here are few additional measures that are to be taken
- Wearing gloves, a mask, and carrying a sanitizer is mandatory otherwise there wouldn’t be an allowance to commend the trip/trek.
- Members traveling should practice social distancing.
- There shouldn’t be any travel record in the past 30 days.
- COVID-19 report is mandatory.
- If the trek/trip gets canceled due to any pandemic or government’s order, there would be no refund instead the plan will get postponed.
- If found with any of the COVID 19’s symptoms, the person will be immediately quarantined. In this case, as well, there wouldn’t be any refund.
- Everyone traveling should have the ‘Arogya Setu App’ installed on their phones.
