The city of Lakes
Udaipur otherwise called the “City of Lakes”, is a city in the territory of Rajasthan in India. It is the notable capital of the realm of Mewar in the previous Rajputana Organization. It was established in 1558 by Maharana Udai Singh II of the Sisodia tribe of Rajput when he moved his capital from the city of Chittorgarh to Udaipur after Chittorgarh was attacked by Akbar. It stayed as the capital city till 1818 when it turned into an English august state, and from that point, the Mewar territory turned into a piece of Rajasthan when India picked up autonomy in 1947.
